1. Is there a minimum quantity to order custom cards?
No there is no minimum quantity requirement. We have made sets of cards - for instance Thank you cards or Party invitation cards can be ordered as a set of 10 cards. We also have a set of 10 assorted cards with 4 blank cards, 3 Birthday cards and 3 Thank you cards.
2. Where are these cards made?
Aranyah cards are made in a small village called Gajja in Uttaranchal State in India. Aranyah provides livelihood for many women in this small picturesque, but poverty stricken Himalayan village.
3. Who makes these cards?
These cards are made by women who have been trained by Aranyah. These women belong to very poor families with no stable income. This provides livelihood for their families.
4. Is Aranyah an NGO?
No. Aranyah is not a registered NGO or a charity organization. It is not funded by any government or government aid. It is a purely private enterprise with a goal to uplift and improve the standards in this cluster of Himalayan villages. We aim to re-channel a large chunk of the proceeds from the sales towards community projects for the village.
5. What is the lead time for these cards?
The lead time entirely depends on the type of cards and the availability of cards. If the cards are pre-printed then the we will let you know when you order, whether they are in stock or not. If they are in stock then they will usually be shipped within 4 working days. Depending on the shipping method you’ll receive your order within 7-15 days. If the cards are not in stock we will contact you via email to let you know the timeframe. For Custom cards the normal lead time is 3-5 weeks.
6. Will all my cards look exactly the same?
Since these cards are Hand-crafted with real dried flowers, leaves etc., it would be impossible for us to create cards looking exactly the same. Each card will be unique and individually hand crafted. We will make our best efforts to adhere to the design that you choose – while we can guarantee it will have all the elements of the design – i.e. the pattern, the colour scheme etc, they will not be exactly the same. Please also note that we are more dependent on nature than many other card-makers. Therefore please bear with us if we are not able to provide off-season flowers.
7. I would like to place a bulk order for Holiday/New year cards for my company. How do I do that?
